Educational Programs
The hallmark of education at "CHILDHOODS" is its hands-on approach to learning. Students work with specially designed materials, manipulating and investigating until they master the lesson inside.
Playgroup:
In our Playgroup program children aged 2-3 yrs are exposed to various hands- on tools that help them to become independent little human beings developing necessary skills like prewriting, Pre Maths & fine motor. Pretend play, Playing in school backyard and peer to peer interactions develop social skills and gross motor. Various theme activities show and tell activities focus on listening and speaking skills. Childs are exposed to different languages during story time circle time and rhyme time.
Nursery Program:
Nursery program is for children aged 3-4 yrs who have started discovering independence. In addition to hands- on learning through tools children begin writing in three core areas of learning i.e Language, Maths, Sensorial/Cognitive. Focus remains on concrete learning by manipulating objects and tools in the environment prepared by teachers and facilitators. Emphasis on phonics for language gives edge to children and develops prereading skills. Story time, rhymes,Dance, Art and learning through play brings about holistic development imparting curiosity, imagination and creativity.
Practivity Set of Toys and Games - Level 1
The toy box contains beautifully designed set of toys and games with clear learning outcomes that are achieved through Activity Based Learning (ABL) for children in the age group of 2 to 4 years (Level 1). Concrete learning happens in incremental steps through these activity-based and game-based tasks. The box contains 15 toys and 3 accessories and a detailed instruction manual. Children can play 115 different games engaging them for more than 6 months with the toys in this box.
With such an exhaustive list of games / activities, children are engaged for long periods of time thus effortlessly meeting learning objectives. The toy box also makes it easier for parents to get children away from gadgets as they are engaged in productive play. The games are designed as single-player and multi-player providing opportunities for self learning as well as interactive play.
